This international event brought together medical aircrews from a wide range of services from fixed and rotor-wing EMS, SAR, RAF and many more, all capable of taking the top spot. The Waypoint AirMed & Rescue Challenge gives medical crew the chance to demonstrate their skills in emergency treatment. Using patient simulators, medical crew members will compete in teams to win a Waypoint AirMed & Rescue Challenge trophy and prize money of £1,000. Separate categories for HEMS, fixed-wing air ambulance and SAR crewmembers featuring typical emergency medical situations.
