Argentinian Naval Prefecture staff flew in on a rescue helicopter to pick up two crew members from a speedboat that became stranded near Olivos in Argentina.
The two men were fishing in the Emilio Mitre Channel when the water level dropped.
Upon receiving a radio message informing them of the situation, the helicopter rescue crew comprising medical staff and rescue swimmers immediately took off. A coast guard boat was also dispatched.
Two rescue swimmers jumped from the helicopter and crawled their way through a sea of mud to reach the boat crew members. A rescue basket was lowered and the boaters were lifted up into the helicopter one by one.
Once onboard the air ambulance they were treated for hyperthermia. They were then airlifted to the main city and treated at the health department where they made their recovery.
