New Cleveland base for Life Force
Air ambulance operator Life Force announced the opening of a new base in Cleveland, US on 23 August, according to HeliHub. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new base location at Cleveland Regional Jetport and was attended by local mayor Tom Rowland, as well as other Cleveland City Council representatives.The base in Cleveland adds to the bases from which Life Force One already operates in Winchester, Sparta, Blue Ridge and Georgia. According to Robbie Tester, vice-president of operations and administrator of Life Force, the new base puts the company in a good strategic location to help patients. Mayor Rowland said to those gathered at the ribbon cutting ceremony: “I am thankful our City Council voted to enter into a partnership with Life Force so our city residents can fly at no cost or a reduced cost to themselves. That’s very important to our people.”
