China’s first military air ambulance ready for action
Testing on China’s first military air ambulance is complete.
The final testing on China’s first military air ambulance was completed on 19 August, the China Military news service has reported. The air ambulance was jointly developed through military-civilian co-operation and a month-long test was performed by the Military Transportation Institute under the Logistics Support Department of China’s Central Military Commission (CMC).
The Transportation Bureau reportedly plans to carry out in-depth feasibility studies on incorporating the air ambulance into the strategic projection reserve force system of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
