The International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ) has announced the finalists for its 2015 Air Ambulance Company of the Year Award. The annual Award recognises excellence in the fixed-wing air ambulance industry, focusing on providers that undertake international missions. Shortlisted this year are ER24 of South Africa, Germany’s FAI, US-based REVA and Tyrol Air Ambulance of Austria.
The winner will be announced at the ITIJ Awards ceremony, which will take place at the Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall, on 5 November. The event serves as the finale for the ITIC Global conference, held this year at the Grand Bretagne Hotel, Athens from 2-5 November.
Sarah Watson, editor of ITIJ, said: “Congratulations to all those companies that have been nominated by our readers as finalists this year. We look forward to seeing everyone in Athens for the ITIJ Awards ceremony, which will also be broadcast live online.”
Ian Cameron, editor in chief of ITIJ, added: “The competition was fierce this year, with companies from all over the world campaigning for votes from their industry partners and colleagues. The judges are going to have a tough time deciding on the eventual winners!”
ITIJ Awards finalists are voted for by subscribers to the ITIJ website. The winners are then decided upon by a panel of judges, all of whom are experts in their field of the travel and health insurance industry.
The ITIJ Awards ceremony will be streamed live via the Internet from 21:30 hrs EET at www.itij.com/awards.
