The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) recently played host to a film crew from Waypoint AirMed & Rescue, who used the charity’s green and black helicopter as a backdrop in a promotional video. Along with shots of Waypoint editor James Paul Wallis that were recorded outside the GWAAC hangar at Filton Airport, Bristol, the short film features footage of London’s Air Ambulance’s helicopter, an Angel MedFlight plane and a number of military and coast guard rescue aircraft.
James Paul Wallis commented: “The Waypoint offices are just a few miles from GWAAC’s base, and it was great to be able to shoot the live footage in front of the air ambulance helicopter that serves our local area. And the timing couldn’t have been better – we arrived just as the GWAAC crew landed following another lifesaving mission.”
