A new video in Angel MedFlight’s ‘My Real Life Moment’ series features former Olympic swimming champion Amy Van Dyken-Rouen, who was transported by the American fixed-wing air ambulance company. The call came following a severe ATV accident, which left Amy with paralysis due to a spinal cord injury. Amy and her husband Tom were determined to get the best possible rehabilitation for her type of injury and made the decision to go to Craig Hospital in Denver. The company documented Amy’s transport and followed up after two months of rehab.
Angel MedFlight commented: “The progress she has made, and continues to make, in her recovery is inspiring.”
