15 medical transport accreditations from CAMTS
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) has awarded a new accreditation to one medical transport service, as well as renewing accreditation for 14 others
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) has awarded a new accreditation to one medical transport service, as well as renewing accreditation for 14 other services at the CAMTS April 2018 board meeting in San Antonio, Texas. Stanford Life Flight, a rotorwing service in Stanford, California, was awarded CAMTS full accreditation for the first time.
“CAMTS is pleased to welcome Stanford Life Flight and extend hearty congratulations to our reaccredited services,” said Executive Director Eileen Frazer. “The safety and quality of care patients receive is a direct result of a service provider’s dedication to safety principles and practices. By receiving CAMTS accreditation, medical transport services highlight their commitment to these ideals as well as the safe and quality care of every patient.”
In addition to a newly accredited service, CAMTS awarded the following companies with reaccreditation:
• Air Care & Mobile Care, operating a rotorwing, ground critical care, ground advanced life support and basic life support service in Cincinnati, Ohio.
• Air EMS, operating a fixed wing and medical escort service in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
• Cal-Ore Life Flight, LLC, operating a fixed wing service in Brookings, Oregon.
• CareFlite, operating a rotorwing and fixed wing service in Dallas, Texas.
• Christiana LifeNet, operating a rotorwing service in Newark, Delaware.
• Guardian Air Transport, operating a rotorwing and fixed wing service in Flagstaff, Arizona.
• Life Fight of Michigan, operating a rotorwing service in Troy, Michigan.
• MedSTAR, operating a rotorwing, ground critical care, ground advanced life support and basic life support service in Washington, D.C.
• Memorial Hermann Life Flight, operating a rotorwing and fixed wing service in Houston, Texas.
• Mercy Health Life Flight Network, operating a rotorwing and ground critical care service in Toledo, Ohio.
