AAR Airlift gains new accreditation
AAR Airlift Group has received medical transport accreditation from NAAMTA .
AAR Airlift Group has received medical transport accreditation from NAAMTA (National Alliance of Medical Transport Applications) for its basic life support programme. The US company provides aviation support services to the US Department of Defence.
AAR Airlift group was ‘pleased’ to receive the accreditation, said Jeffrey Wehrenberg, president of AAR Airlift Group. “This milestone accomplishment reflects AAR’s commitment to the highest levels of safety management and quality patient care,” he added.
Nancy Purcell, NAAMTA’s director of clinical operations, said: “AAR’s ability to meet the needs of medical transport in very austere and remote areas of the world speaks to their commitment to bring medical care to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access such services.”
