The US National Interagency Fire Centre has profiled the Aerial Firefighting Use and Effectiveness (AFUE) programme in a new video. It discusses each modules composition, how AFUE interacts with other services and uses its data to help plan new strategies for aerial firefighting.

“This study is an exploration of critical questions; questions such as: where, when, why, how, and how well are aerial firefighting resources being used?” said AFUE about its role within aerial firefighting.
