Air Methods partner with Oceania Aviation to help sell surplus BK117 stock
Air Methods Corporation has announced that it has partnered with Oceania Aviation to assist with bringing its extensive BK117 parts inventory to market in New Zealand.
US medical air services provider Air Methods Corporation has announced that it has partnered with Oceania Aviation to assist with bringing its extensive BK117 parts inventory to market in New Zealand.
Air Methods has operated more than 70 BK117A3/A4/B1/B2 aircraft, and with the company reducing its fleet, it is looking to Oceania Aviation to market and sell the surplus BK117 stock.
“This relationship enables us to focus on our core business of saving lives, and we entrust Oceania Aviation with our BK117 parts inventory to do what they do best, the leader in marketing and selling aviation products in New Zealand,” Troy Atkinson, Director of aircraft cost management at Air Methods, said.
Oceania Aviation has nine locations across New Zealand, and Air Methods says that the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to providing premier support to BK117 operators, and its position in the industry is well placed with a diverse list of BK117 contacts.
Stephen Green of Oceania Aviation said: “Air Methods is an air medical leader, and I have had the pleasure of working with the Air Methods team for seven years now on BK117 aircraft and parts sales. I am very pleased to be marketing their extensive list of BK117 parts, further defining our true partnership rather than being just a ‘vendor.’”
