There’s plenty to get your teeth into in this June/July issue of the magazine – analysis of the potential crash-resistant fuel tank regulations in the US, and a look at how far helicopter medics are trained on the aircraft on which they fly, as well as features on flood rescue techniques, and US Air Force aeromedical team research.
It’s the Police Aviation special edition, so we’ve included features dedicated to how police helicopter interiors can be adapted for medical care, and a spotlight on the South African Police Air Wing.
There are interviews with Professor David Lockey of the Welsh Flying Medics, and with Colonel Elizabeth Mannsalinas, formerly of the US Air Force.
The Company Profiles this issue feature Kopter of Switzerland and AirLec Ambulance of France.
