US-based air medical transport company Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH) has announced that it will soon acquire privately held air medical operator SevenBar Aviation LLC, after the transaction soon closes.
SevenBar Aviation is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with bases in New Mexico, Texas, Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia, and North Carolina. It operates a fleet of nine jet and turboprop airplanes, in addition to six helicopters and has grown its geographic footprint significantly over the last seven decades.
AMGH is the parent company of Med-Trans, which is now in its 36th year of business. Med-Trans President Rob Hamilton said: “SevenBar Aviation's commitment to its communities, patients and healthcare partners are a tremendous asset and will align with the AMGH and Med-Trans strategic vision and culture. We are very much looking forward to working with the leadership and dedicated employees of SevenBar."
