Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance has announced that it is now fully licensed by the State of Nevada to transport patients in or out of the US state. The provider explained that Nevada State Law was amended on in October 2013 by Nevada State Senate Bill 285, which prohibited emergency air ambulance providers from transporting patients to or from the State of Nevada without first complying with the state’s individual medical, safety and transportation requirements. The law relates to licensing requirements for emergency services only, however Angel MedFlight said that it decided to further its commitment to serving those in need of emergent and non-emergent fixed-wing air ambulance services and obtained the State of Nevada License, complying with all of the standards and conditions presented.
Jeremy T. Freer, CEO and president of Angel MedFlight, stated: “Although this licence was not actually required as it relates to our specific services as a worldwide, fixed-wing operator, we committed to obtaining the licence in order to constantly strive to go above and beyond for our patients and clinical partners.”
Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance provides domestic and international air medical transportation services, commercial medical escorts, ground ambulance services and provides discretionary insurance benefit assistance.
