Babcock awarded support contract by Sécurité Civile
Aviation services provider Babcock has been awarded a contract to support the French Directorate-General for Civil Security (Sécurité Civile)
Babcock will provide maintenance support to Sécurité Civile’s fleet of four Airbus H145-D3 aircraft under the four-year contract, ensuring that they remain in operational condition.
The company will also oversee the upkeep of mission equipment and support resources related to the H145 fleet.
“We are very proud to be responsible for the maintenance of these four new H145-D3 aircraft, reinforcing the very best of French know-how in the service of civil security,” said Vincent Delebecque, BD Aviation Director for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) at Babcock France.
Sécurité Civile provides a number of aviation services on behalf of the French people, including mountain rescue, coast guard, air ambulance, and aerial firefighting.
Babcock International was also recently awarded a 12-year contract by the state government of Queensland to provide air ambulance and search and rescue support in the Torres Strait.
