CAL FIRE contract goes to DynCorp International
DynCorp International has been awarded a continue valued at $59.4 million contract for supporting the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection aviation programme.
DynCorp International has been awarded a continue valued at $59.4 million contract for supporting the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) aviation programme, helping to suppress and control wildfires. The contract has a base period of two years, with three, one-year options. The company will provide for the operation and maintenance of CAL FIRE’s 52 aircraft, to include at least 144 employees (54 pilots and 90 maintenance personnel).
“DynCorp International has supported CAL FIRE since 2001 and we are pleased to continue our partnership supporting this distinguished aerial firefighting community,” said Steven Schorer, DynAviation president, DynCorp International.
