CAMTS EU introduces site surveyors
CAMTS EU announced the appointment of its first site surveyors on 21 July.
CAMTS EU, the European arm of US-based air medical accreditation provider the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, announced the appointment of its first site surveyors on 21 July. CAMTS held a three-day class for those applying for CAMTS EU site surveyor positions in Zurich, Germany. Applicants were chosen for their expertise and experience, and all are currently employed by medical transport services outside of North America, said the organisation.
The team was named as David Quayle, clinical services manager for Air Alliance MedFlight UK; Dr Alberto Piacentini, flight doctor for S. Anna Hospital in Como, Italy; Dr Fatemah Rajah, consultant for Embrace, Infant and Children’s Transport, UK; and Dr Anyarit Sangcharaswichai, medical director for Bangkok Dusit Medical Services.
The CAMTS board of directors met in Zurich and welcomed the new site surveyors, who attended the first day of board meetings. A meeting of the CAMTS EU board of directors, which took place at the same time, represented the European arm’s first on-site meeting since it was registered in Zurich in November 2015.
