Eagle III gains NAAMTA accreditation
Following a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices and facilities, the National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA) has awarded Eagle III with accreditation for the company’s rotary wing air medical programme.
Following a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices and facilities, the National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA) has awarded Eagle III with accreditation for the company’s rotary wing air medical programme. Eagle III is a comprehensive air and ground medical transportation programme based in Wisconsin. Each of the company’s aircraft is operated by Air Methods, the largest provider of air medical transport services in the US.
Tom Madigan, Eagle III programme director, said of the accreditation: “NAAAMTA has reaffirmed that Eagle III is one of the few programmes to uphold the highest quality safety and medical standards. As an agency, NAAMTA’s mission is to strengthen industry standards nationwide, which will directly benefit patients and flight crews alike.”
Amy Arndt, NAAMTA’s programme director, stated: “[Our] accreditation programme is built on providing standards that focus on quality patient care and safety of the transport for all involved … Our site audit evidenced Eagle III’s determination to provide outstanding services to the community. We were very impressed with the expertise of each individual and how their contribution in working succinctly as a team results in successful transports.”
