German Armed Forces receives final H135
Airbus Helicopters has delivered the final H135 helicopter to the German Armed Forces.
Airbus Helicopters has delivered the final H135 helicopter to the German Armed Forces. The helicopter is one of five that the manufacturer was contracted to deliver. The German Federal Office for Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) is leasing these helicopters for initial and recurrent pilot training.
The service already operates 14 of these helicopters, which have been in service since 2000. The aircraft has accumulated more than 100,000 flight hours. The aircraft is also operated by armed forces in the UK, Switzerland, Portugal and Australia. There are currently 1,300 of them in service globally.
