The National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Application (NAAMTA) has announced its award of medical transport accreditation to US-based fixed-wing air ambulance provider Jet ICU. As a result, Jet ICU joins NAAMTA Alliance membership, and thus is privy to the benefits associated, said NAAMTA. The provider's compliance with NAAMTA's requirements was evaluated through employee interviews, on-site evaluations and process reviews, all of which were conducted using ISO 9001:2008 auditing guidelines, said the Alliance.
Mike Honeycutt of Jet ICU commented: “Jet ICU and I share the overall goal of the NAAMTA organisation: to ensure high quality services to all clients with the highest level of competent care while meeting regulations set forth by the industry and overseeing agencies.”
NAAMTA executive director, Roylen 'Griff' Griffin added: “From the very beginning of the NAAMTA/Jet ICU relationship, the commitment to detail has been a large part of what drives the success of this company. Willing employees take it upon themselves to assess and thoroughly take part in Quality Patient Care metrics and safety cultures. We couldn’t be happier than to add Jet ICU to the NAAMTA Alliance.
