Life Flight International gains EURAMI accreditation
Life Flight International Inc. of North Saanich, British Columbia, Canada has been awarded 'Full Accreditation – Special Care' for its fixed-wing air ambulance operations after an on-site audit by the board of the European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI).
Life Flight International Inc. of North Saanich, British Columbia, Canada has been awarded 'Full Accreditation – Special Care' for its fixed-wing air ambulance operations after an on-site audit by the board of the European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI). The accreditation is valid for three years, running until 15 August 2015, and demonstrates 'substantial compliance with the EURAMI accreditation standards', according to the award certificate; 'Special Care' status had been given as Life Flight International has 'proven capabilities in the air transport of special high risk patients and providing high level care'.
Announcing the award, Chris Connor, who is vice-president and operations manager for Life Flight International and was appointed a EURAMI board member in July, said: "This accreditation demonstrates Life Flight International's commitment to professional excellence and leading edge medical transport worldwide."
