Medic’Air International has announced that in order to extend its activities in Africa and in the Middle-East, it is opening a new office in Marrakech, Morocco. The new office will provide medical assistance for foreign tourists and workers with a team of five operators with fluent English, French and Arabic, and under the medical supervision of French Medic’Air doctors, said the company.
With a new long-range dedicated aircraft and the opening of its African platform, Medic’Air International said it now has an advanced base in Africa to perform emergency medical evacuations, including ECMO cases and evacuations from areas struck by Ebola virus outbreaks.
According to Dr Hervé Raffin, general manager of the French medical transport provider, this new operation team will allow Medic’Air International to provide better assistance for Western travelers, as well as for Chinese and Japanese customers travelling in many locations where getting assistance can prove an issue.
