Ornge appoints McCallum as president and CEO
The board of directors of Ontario, Canada-based air ambulance service provider Ornge has announced that it has appointed Dr Andrew McCallum as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO).
The board of directors of Ontario, Canada-based air ambulance service provider Ornge has announced that it has appointed Dr Andrew McCallum as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO).
McCallum has been Ontario’s chief coroner since 2008, having been regional coroner before that, as well as holding various positions with Hamilton Health Sciences and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. He trained as a flight surgeon with the Canadian Forces and is a specialist in emergency medicine. McCallum takes over from interim president and CEO Ron McKerlie, who held the position since January 2012.
