San Bernardino thanks those who extinguished Pilot Fire
The fire, started on 7 August, engulfed over 8,000 acres (12.5 sq miles) and took firefighting aircraft and ground crews from several different agencies to finally contain on 16 August.
San Bernardino County Fire Department has made a video thanking all those involved with containing the Pilot Fire outside the city of San Bernardino, California, US.

The video features photos taken during the efforts to tackle the blaze, both from on the ground and in the air. as well as a message of thanks to all staff and citizens who helped to tackle the blaze.
