San Diego to host 2023 ECHO conference
Every Coast Helicopter Operations (ECHO) has announced that its 2023 ECHO public safety aviation conference will be held in San Diego, California
The event is scheduled to take place between 2–4 October 2023 at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in the city of San Diego.
ECHO stated that the event will ‘bring together flight clinicians, pilots, airborne law enforcement, search and rescue, aerial firefighting, military service members and leadership’ from across the US. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for attendees to ‘share experiences, network with peers, and learn about the latest advancements in public safety aviation’.
The event will feature ‘discussion panels, breakout sessions, and interactive workshops led by industry experts’, as well as the iSimulate Get Real Simulation Challenge, and nightly social events.
The conference is supported by a number of partners, including Airbus, Air Methods, Bell, iSimulate, and Leonardo. Registration to attend the event is now open to bookings, via the conference website.
“We are thrilled to host ECHO San Diego and bring together such a talented group of individuals dedicated to public safety aviation,” said Travis Mason, ECHO Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) Director. “We look forward to providing attendees with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and a chance to learn from some of the best in the industry.”
San Diego County approved the purchase of a new Bell 412 EPX firefighting helicopter in April 2022.
