The Spanish air force deployed three firefighting aircraft from its 43 Group on 3 July to fight wildfire blazes that had broken out near Minas de Riotinto.
The Spanish air force deployed three firefighting aircraft from its 43 Group on 3 July to fight wildfire blazes that had broken out near Minas de Riotinto.
The aircraft carried out 73 discharges, meaning that around 438 tons of water were emptied out over a period of over 13 hours. Two of the planes flew from Malaga, whilst the third was flown from its base in Badajoz.
