US Army Chinooks fly Puerto Rico aid
Two CH-47 Chinook helicopters from the US Army’s 2nd General Support Aviation, Battalion 501st Aviation Regiment, Desert Knights delivered food and water from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to the residents of the mountainous region of Jayuya, Puerto Rico on 26 October, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. With the help of the National Gaurd Soldiers who will distribute the supplies, the Combat Aviation Brigade soldiers unloaded the pallets and will continue supporting the many local and federal responders caring for the needs of their fellow citizens.
