US coast guard medevacs injured fisherman
A young man was transferred to emergency medical services personnel by a US coast guard helicopter crew.
On 8 August, a 19-year-old fisherman, who was reportedly suffering lower gastrointestinal bleeding, was medevaced from a commercial fishing vessel near to Gold Beach, Oregon, US.
The man was airlifted by a coast guard air crew in an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and transferred to emergency medical personnel waiting with an ambulance at Air Station North Bend.
