Air Alliance sells majority stake

Funds advised by DPE Deutsche Private Equity Management III GmbH (DPE) have agreed to acquire a majority interest in the Air Alliance Group. Founder and CEO Wolfgang Krombach retains a significant shareholding and will continue to lead the company.

Headquartered at Airport Siegerland, Air Alliance provides integrated aviation services – it is an official sales representative and service centre for renowned aircraft OEMs Pilatus, Diamond and Gulfstream, while also offering maintenance, repair and overhaul services for a wide range of private and business jets. Moreover, Air Alliance is a provider of air ambulance flights and was recently awarded “Air Ambulance Provider of the Year 2017” by the International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ). The Company has more than 130 employees across its locations at the Siegerland, Cologne, Vienna and Birmingham airports.
