Guardian Flight names Lyman as VP of Base ops
Randy Lyman has been named as Vice-President of Base Operations for US-based Guardian Flight Inc
Randy Lyman has been named as Vice-President of Base Operations for US-based Guardian Flight Inc, reporting to Fred Buttrell, President and CEO of Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), the firm’s parent company. In his new role, Lyman will be responsible for all of Guardian Flight’s bases – of which there are more than 50 – with air medical operations in 15 states. As VP of Base Operations, Lyman will provide ‘leadership, management and vision to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency’, said Guardian Flight.
Previous roles for Lyman include Direct of Service Delivery for REACH Air Medical Services, and Vice-President of CALSTAR Air Medical Services, following its acquisition by REACH, also an AMGH company.
