Safran Helicopter Engines has announced that it has made two senior management appointments.
Safran Helicopter Engines has announced that it has made two senior management appointments. The first is that of Florent Chauvancy, who takes over the position of Executive Vice-President of OEM sales. Florent takes over the position from Maxime Faribault, who is retiring.
Florent joined Safran Landing Systems in 1998, working in in production, supply chain and purchasing within its Landing Gear & Systems Integration division in Gloucester, Bidos and Toronto. In 2005, he moved to the wheels and brakes division, becoming responsible for sales of regional, business and military aircraft.
He finally made the move to the Safran Helicopter Engines in 2009. Prior to his promotion, he was Vice-President for Heavy Helicopter Engine Programs at Safran Helicopter Engines.
The second appointment sees Pierre-Jean Flores’s position of Executive Vice-President for Finance and Administration filled by Giuseppe Curci.  Giuseppe joined Safran Aircraft Engines in 2003, moving to Safran Electronics and Defense in 2006, before joining Safran Helicopter Engines in 2011 as Financial Controller.
