Coast Guard chopper and boat join forces to make rescue
A US Coast Guard aircrew aboard an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter recently assisted with the medevac of a 55-year-old man from a tanker.
A US Coast Guard aircrew aboard an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Florida, recently assisted with the medevac of a 55-year-old man from a tanker after he suffered heart attack-like symptoms. A 45-foot response boat and crew from Coast Guard Station Cortez also assisted in the mission.
The Coast Guard said that the man was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital.
