The International Travel Insurance Journal (ITIJ), Waypoint’s sister publication, has announced the finalists for the ITIJ Air Ambulance Award 2011.
The International Travel Insurance Journal (ITIJ), Waypoint’s sister publication, has announced the finalists for the ITIJ Air Ambulance Award 2011. The finalists were selected through an open vote by ITIJ readers on the international fixed-wing air ambulance provider they think should be recognised this year. The votes have been counted by an independent adjudicator, and the four nominees are: AirMed International, US; AMREF Flying Doctors, Kenya; AirLink Air Ambulance, Mexico; and Netcare 911 of South Africa. The finalists have been invited to submit a 750-word article to a judging panel, explaining what they have done in the past year to merit the award, how they have grown/progressed their business in the past year, and how they plan to build on the past year’s success.
The winner will be announced at the ITIJ Industry Awards 2011 ceremony, which is to be held at the International Travel Insurance Conference in Lisbon on 3 November.
