LNAA reports record callouts
The UK-based Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance (LNAA) has already surpassed its previous record, set last year
As of 5 December, the air ambulance charity has responded to over 1,630 emergencies in 2023 – surpassing the full-year figure for 2022 of 1,620 callouts – with almost a month left to go.
The service operates 24 hours per day, seven days a week, serving the approximately 1.6 million residents of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, in East Midlands of England.
“The rising number of missions indicates the crucial role that LNAA plays in delivering life-saving care to those in need across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire,” said Karen Jobling, CEO of LNAA. “By taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge we hope to hit the £70,000 target to enable us to get to more patients this winter.”
