Reiser Simulation and Training to provide NH90 rear cabin trainer to NAHEMA
The device will train future NH90 users in air transport, medevac and casevac
Reiser Simulation and Training (RST) was awarded a contract for the provision of the NH90 rear cabin trainer by the NATO Helicopter Management Agency (NAHEMA) and the German Federal Armed Forces.
The NH90 rear cabin trainer is an advancement of RST’s NH90 maintenance training rig (MTR), tailored to meet the specific training needs of airmobile forces.
The device will empower future NH90 users, as well as crewmembers, to acquire essential skills in air transport, medical evacuation (medevac), casualty evacuation (casevac), and various loading/unloading procedures encompassing a range of configurations.
It closely replicates the NH90 cabin, excluding the upper deck and rotor, while incorporating a reduced tail boom.
The NH90 rear cabin trainer will be operational at the Air Manoeuvre Training and Exercise Centre located in Celle, Germany, with anticipated readiness in autumn 2024.
Dr Johannes Hain, CEO at RST, said: “Sustainability is at the heart of our mission, and this project is a testament to our dedication to eco-conscious training. Our NH90 replicas are a commitment to precision, delivering an experience that stays true to every detail. We are proud to provide an advanced training solution that enhances the skills and safety of airmobile forces while embracing sustainable practices.”
