Helicopter distributor Rotortrade has announced the sale of a Super Puma H225 to Airtelis. The aircraft will be used to conduct aerial firefighting missions in the south of France.
“This collaboration represents an important milestone for Rotortrade,” said Philippe Lubrano, CEO of Rotortrade. “Our partnership with Airtelis is a key driver of our success, and this transaction exemplifies the efficiency and speed that define our approach in the industry.”
Lubrano added that ‘as a company, we are proud that [the helicopter] will be utilized for firefighting purposes’, and that the transaction ‘aligns with our commitment to making a positive impact through our operations’.
The Airbus H225 Super Puma is a long-range, twin-engine helicopter capable of a range of operation types, including all-weather search and rescue (SAR), aerial firefighting, law enforcement, passenger transport and utility work.
Rotortrade previously signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Milestone Aviation for up to seven rotorcraft in March of this year.
