New format for AAA conference

The UK’s Association of Air Ambulances (AAA) has announced a new format for this year’s National Conference.

The UK’s Association of Air Ambulances (AAA) has announced a new format for this year’s National Conference. A new ‘streamlined’ structure for the event’s agenda will focus on key subjects including quality, innovation, resilience and ‘horizon’. In addition to the a key note address, there will be presentations by experts from the clinical, air operations and charity sectors.

Jane Gurney, AAA board member, explained: “Following three highly successful conferences, this exciting new look format brings together our three colleges of charity, clinical and operations, ensuring the funding, patient treatment and how we operate as organisations share an equal footing on our four chosen subjects. In the coming months, further speakers will be announced.”

The conference is followed by the Air Ambulance Awards of Excellence and Gala Dinner. Nominations for this year’s awards will open on 1 June 2016.
