Four killed in Slovakian HEMS crash
In Slovakia, the Horská Záchranná Služba (Mountain Rescue Service) has reported on the fatal crash of its helicopters during a rescue mission.
In Slovakia, the Horská Záchranná Služba (Mountain Rescue Service), part of the Interior Ministry, has reported that one of its helicopters crashed during a rescue mission in the early evening of 17 July. The aircraft was called in by fire service paramedics to assist a 10-year-old boy who had fallen in the Prielom Hornádu canyon, injuring his head and legs. However, the helicopter crashed into the gorge, killing all four crew members onboard. The injured boy was carried out by stretcher.
