Voyageur Publishing and Events Ltd has announced that its trade publication for the international air ambulance and air rescue community is now called AirMed & Rescue Magazine. The magazine, which has a global readership of civilian and military operators that use helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to rescue people in distress and transport patients by air, has been known as Waypoint AirMed & Rescue since its launch in 2008.
James Paul Wallis, editor of AirMed & Rescue Magazine, explained: “We were prompted to revisit the magazine’s logo as part of the process to develop a new app for the publication. During those discussions, we made the decision to simplify the title to give it a clearer, stronger identity. I’m sure that readers of Waypoint AirMed & Rescue will recognise AirMed & Rescue Magazine as the same publication that they know and love – the keen eyed among them may even notice that the red from the Waypoint element of the logo will live on as a brand colour on, for example, the app graphics.”
The magazine’s web address remains unchanged as www.airmedandrescue.com, and the Twitter handle is @airmedandrescue as before.
