Airmedic partners with Limosa
Quebec-based air ambulance service Airmedic has teamed up with electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) manufacturer Limosa
Airmedic will assist Limosa in improving the interior design and functionality of LimoMedic, the air ambulance version of Limosa’s LimoConnect eVTOL aircraft.
The partners hope to ensure that the LimoMedic’s interior meets the specific needs and recommendations of air ambulance operators.
“We are at the beginning of an extraordinary journey in the electric transportation sector,” said Sophie Larochelle, CEO of Airmedic. “We are particularly sensitive to the ecological footprint of our sector, and with this partnership we would have the opportunity to commit to sustainability, as we believe in the innovation of zero-emission aircraft.”
The Canadian government recently invested CA$10 million into the development of Laflamme Aero’s LX300 remotely piloted aircraft system at its facility in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
