Meeting members’ needs
“Customer service is very important to AAMS, as well as assuring our members and non-members have an excellent experience through informative and quality education, resources, and advocacy,” said Cameron Curtis, AAMS President and CEO. “With 100-per-cent board support, after a virtual strategic planning two-day meeting, our organization is well placed for success with a roadmap and a small but mighty leadership team to support the industry and deliver an excellent member engagement experience,” she added.
Under Curtis’ guidance, Christopher Eastlee, long-time AAMS Vice-President of Public Affairs, and Garet Turner, in his new position as Vice-President of Strategic Engagement & Member Experience for AAMS and Executive Director of the MedEvac Foundation International, will collectively focus on customer service, creating more value for members, partners and donors, as well as improving the organization’s education, events, and internal processes.
“Working hand-in-hand with the board, Cameron, and our new leadership team, we have accomplished a lot in a short period of time,” Garet Turner said. “We look forward to producing a virtual AMTC that will be full of relevant content, including dynamic keynote speakers, 60+ education sessions, 2020 AAMS awards, as well as networking opportunities.”
