Air Ambulances UK announces Lifetime Achievement Award nominees
The annual awards celebrate the work and commitment of those in the air ambulance community
Air Ambulances UK (AAUK), the national charity supporting the UK’s air ambulance charities, has announced the individuals shortlisted for its Lifetime Achievement Award in its Awards of Excellence 2023.
The nominees are:
- Dr Matthew Wyse – The Air Ambulance Service
- Captain Chris Attrill – Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance
- Mark Winter – Wales Air Ambulance
- Captain Blaine Ashurst – Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex
- Ian Roberts – Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The annual awards celebrate and recognize the specialist lifesaving critical care skills and commitment of those working tirelessly within and in support of the air ambulance community.
The awards ceremony and conference are being held at Reading Football Club on 30 November and will include a wide range of speakers covering various areas and topics.
AAUK would like to congratulate all shortlisted nominees, and all those who submitted applications, and to thank the judges for their hard work when facing some very difficult decisions on deciding the shortlist.
