Air Ambulances UK joins Virgin Red rewards club
Four new charities including Air Ambulances UK have been added to the rewards club, enabling members to donate Virgin Points to good causes
Virgin Red, Virgin's new rewards club, has welcomed Air Ambulances UK to its Points for Good category. The announcement means that Virgin Red members can choose to donate one thousand Virgin Points or more to many different good causes including Air Ambulances UK, and more than fourteen other national and local charities to choose from.
With online donations increasing by 115 per cent during the pandemic and latest research suggesting that 44 per cent of the public have donated online over the summer months, the Points for Good category within Virgin Red provides an easy way for members to donate to the charities and communities important to them at the click of a button.
Saving more lives
Charlotte Sjoberg, Corporate Affairs Director at Virgin Red, commented: "We are thrilled to welcome Air Ambulances UK into our Points for Good category at Virgin Red. We hope that being part of the Virgin Red family will continue to raise awareness and donations to support the crucial lifesaving service air ambulances provide across the UK – a service that any one of us could need at any time."

Each lifesaving mission costs around £2,500-£3,500 and is funded almost entirely by donations. This great initiative with Virgin Red will help air ambulance charities to save even more lives.”
Meanwhile, Air Ambulances UK has unveiled its new five-year strategy, Saving More Lives Together 2021-2025.
