Air Methods Corporation, the US-based air medical transportation giant, announced on 19 January that it has acquired Tri-State Care Flight. In November, Air Methods announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tri-State Care Flight and its air medical transport programme.
Aaron Todd, Air Methods CEO, said: “Air Methods would first like to welcome Tri-State Care Flight employees to the team. They are now a part of the 4,000 strong making a difference in the lives of thousands. We truly believe that everyone deserves access to lifesaving care, and we look forward to strengthening our commitment in the southwest.”
The company said that Tri-State Care Flight will continue to operate as a critical care transport provider servicing the US states of Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado.
Dr Blake Stamper, founder and managing member of Tri-State Care Flight, commented: “What I’m looking forward to the most is the expansion of Tri-State Care Flight’s footprint. This enhances the opportunities for the professionals dedicated to the mission, and for the patients and customers we do it all for.”
