Air Methods celebrates anniversary of SkyLife
Air medical service provider Air Methods is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its SkyLife air ambulance service
Since opening in June of 1991, the SkyLife crews have completed more than 22,000 patient transports.
“We are tremendously proud of this anniversary for SkyLife, as we continue to see our crew delivering safe, reliable and high-quality care and transport to the residents and visitors in central California,” said Air Methods Area Manager Lisa Epps. “We’re looking forward to SkyLife delivering excellence in care and air medical services for many years to come as the community we serve continues to grow.”
SkyLife provides essential lifesaving air medical services in central California. SkyLife has three helicopters and one fixed wing plane and is staffed by 18 nurses, 17 paramedics, 16 pilots and seven mechanics.
