Air Methods to support Transport Medical Competition
The competition is a regular fixture of the annual Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference (CCTMC)
This year’s conference will be hosted in the US city of Denver, Colorado, between 17–19 April. The annual Transport Medical Competition, held during the event, challenges eight critical care transport teams to demonstrate their skills in several critical care simulation scenarios.
The competition will employ high-fidelity simulation to ‘test skills, knowledge, critical thinking and communication under extremely stressful conditions.
Air Methods will support the competition through the expertise of its Director of Simulation and Innovative Education, William B Belk – who recently helped to develop the company’s Ascend training program, which opened to external candidates this year.
Other Air Methods associates who will offer support to the competition include Stephanie Queen, the company’s Senior Vice President of Clinical Services, and Kelly Miller, Vice President of Clinical Services.
