Air Rescue UK, a company that provides helicopter hoist operations, has announced ‎plans for a joint venture with specialized helicopter operations firm Brim Aviation

The two companies announced the planned joint venture at vertical lift industry show ‎Verticon.‎

The collaboration will see the two firms bring “world-class helicopter hoist training and ‎operational support” to the US market.‎

The partnership will combine Air Rescue UK’s expertise in hoist operations and ‎simulation-based training, with Brim Aviation’s extensive experience in the fields of ‎special missions, offshore, and utility aviation.‎

The companies stated that the intention of the venture was to “enhance safety, ‎efficiency, and readiness across the industry”, and that further details of the joint ‎venture and upcoming training programs would be announced in the coming months.‎

The UK’s National Police Air Service recently selected Schiebel to conduct beyond ‎visual line of sight (BVLOS) trials of its drones.‎
