Airbus delivers H160 to GDAT
Chinese operator GDAT Group will use the aircraft to deliver services such as medical response, municipal public services, and offshore transportation
Airbus Helicopters has delivered its first H160 helicopter to Chinese operator GDAT Group – part of a fleet of 50 rotorcraft originally ordered by the company in April 2023.
The helicopter will be used for a range of operations, including offshore transportation to offshore gas platforms and wind farms, harbor piloting, emergency medical services, and other municipal public services.
The Airbus H160 is capable of a 255km/h cruise speed, with a maximum range of 890km, and a maximum endurance of 4hrs 30mins with standard fuel tanks. In its regular configuration, it can accommodate one or two pilots and up to 12 passengers.
