Airbus to support another 46 French government H145s
This new contract will see Airbus provide support to the entire combined H145 fleet of the French Sécurité Civile and Gendarmerie Nationale
Airbus Helicopters has been awarded an additional contract to support a further H145 helicopters operated by the French Sécurité Civile and Gendarmerie government agencies.
The two agencies, which provide civil defense and nationwide law enforcement respectively, both operate under the umbrella of the French Ministry of the Interior.
The contract will see Airbus provide support services to 46 H145s – 40 operated by the Sécurité Civile and six by the Gendarmerie Nationale – for up to 10 years, in partnership with Babcock.
The new agreement follows a previous contract of the same type, signed in May 2024, which covered a fleet of 48 helicopters. Together, the two contracts cover the provision of support services to all H145s operated by the two agencies.
