AirCARE1 adds another Learjet 60 to its fleet

Each Learjet aircraft is equipped with an airborne intensive care unit, enabling the medical team to perform lifesaving interventions. With speeds of up to 485mph, the Learjet 60 can transport patients to their destination quicker and faster in a quieter environment than AirCARE1’s other aircraft.

The higher altitude ensures a faster and smoother ride above any adverse weather conditions, which provides better comfort and peace of mind for patients. The aircraft has a range of 2,150 to 2,350 nautical miles with a total flight duration of five to 5.5 hours, which allows for non-stop service from coast to coast.

Patient comfort core of the fleet

The interior features a full stand-up cabin, with additional executive style seating for family members, as well as a private lavatory for added convenience that provides patient comfort.

During transport, each patient is provided with holistic methods of noise cancelling headsets with therapeutic music and hand massages with aromatherapy. This provides for a quiet environment for the patient and their family members.

In the summer, AirCARE1 acquired the ISO VAC patient isolation module to allow its crew to safely transport patients with highly infectious diseases, including Covid-19.
